Tides are usually
"bigger" during the full moon & new moon. Low tide can be a
better
time for shelling and tides also affect fishing.
Shorebirds such
as the Roseate Spoonbill also benefit when food such as small fish and
shrimp are trapped in mud flats during extremely low tides.
